Northwest Pretties was established in 1991, by me, Susan, sole-owner/artist. I have always been artistic and crafty and I wanted an outlet to share my art. This came at a time when I wanted to be a stay at home mom while my kids were in elementary school. (They are now grown, but it has also enabled me to be a stay-at-home Nana, where I was able to provide day care for my granddaughter, who is now too old to need it. ) With a nudge and a few pushes from a very encouraging admirer, (Nancy, rip) Northwest Pretties was born.
My business has journeyed through various mediums since it was established. Originally, dried flowers was the name of the game. As a florist, this was an easy decision to make. How great it is to create flowers…. wreaths, swags and arrangements that do not die! As the years have passed though, I have enjoyed learning and adding other mediums to my collection, the culmination of which you will find as you visit my site.
